Internationally renowned author and activist Maude Barlow will speak to Winnipeggers Monday September 21 at 7 pm at the Eckhardt Grammate Hall at the University of Winnipeg. This event is an initiative of the Winnipeg chapter of the Council of Canadians. It will address Winnipeg City Council’s recent changes to the city’s water and waste management in the context of a global water crisis. This event will kick off the University of Winnipeg’s Sustainability week.

Joining Ms. Barlow will be Winnipeg City Councillor Jenny Gerbasi and Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives researcher Lynn Fernandez.
